The Sunshine School is a joint project between the China Guangxi Provincial Govt., Yangshuo County Education Bureau, myself, and a group of western volunteers. When completed in 2010, this K-12 school for physically disabled children in Yangshuo, China will accommodate 100 students plus parent caretakers, teachers and administrative staff. It will be one of the first such schools in China for Children who do not qualify for existing schools. I am responsible for leading the building & facilities design, curriculum design, student recruitment, staffing and corporate sponsorship. The Chinese government will provide funding for initial construction and local administration.
